We had an amazing stay at Tavendang Guesthouse! The family who runs the place were so helpful and selfless, despite the slight language barrier. The location was perfect for us, right next to the bridge that connects to the neighboring island. It was a great place to unwind and chill, with amazing waterfront bungalows. We loved that there were fewer mosquitoes compared to other places we've stayed in Don Det. The onsite restaurant was excellent, and if we wanted more options, it was just a quick 5-minute walk across the bridge to the next island. Mama, the owner, took care of all our queries and helped us with tours and transportation. The service here was truly exceptional!

The bungalows are spacious and clean, with a lovely terrace overlooking the Mekong river. The fast and stable wifi allowed us to work without any issues. We also appreciated the laundry service and the option to rent bicycles nearby.
