Daily maid service was fantastic, they even folded my clothes! And the free WiFi was a lifesaver when I needed to ignore my family on social media.
Oh, I just loved when I couldn't get WiFi signal in my bungalow. It really made me feel like I was on a true getaway.

We had an amazing stay at Tavendang Guesthouse! The family who runs the place were so helpful and selfless, despite the slight language barrier. The location was perfect for us, right next to the bridge that connects to the neighboring island. It was a great place to unwind and chill, with amazing waterfront bungalows. We loved that there were fewer mosquitoes compared to other places we've stayed in Don Det. The onsite restaurant was excellent, and if we wanted more options, it was just a quick 5-minute walk across the bridge to the next island. Mama, the owner, took care of all our queries and helped us with tours and transportation. The service here was truly exceptional!
Nothing, it was perfect! 😊

We stayed at Tavendang Guesthouse for six nights and wished we could stay even longer. The bungalows are located right next to the French bridge, offering a stunning sunrise view. The atmosphere is quiet and chilled, perfect for relaxation. Mama and the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The bungalows are spacious and clean, with a lovely terrace overlooking the Mekong river. The fast and stable wifi allowed us to work without any issues. We also appreciated the laundry service and the option to rent bicycles nearby.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The bungalows were in decent condition, fitted with functioning toilets.
The restaurant's food was not amazing, and the service was slow.

I had a wonderful time at a guesthouse in a peaceful location close to the bridge leading to Don Khone. The bungalow I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a functioning toilet. The guesthouse offered various activities and even provided boat transport. The view of the river was stunning, especially from the porch hammock. I highly recommend this place.

We found the location of the guesthouse to be quite convenient. It is situated in the centre of the island, making it easy to explore the neighbouring island of Don Khon. The bridge to Don Khon is also nearby, providing easy access to the waterfalls located on the other island. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was in good condition. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering activities like boat transport and providing a pickup service. The restaurant had a nice view of the river and served delicious food at reasonable prices.
Some of the bicycles available for rent were in bad condition.

The bungalow was cozy and charming, with a private bathroom that had a refreshing shower. I loved waking up and stepping out onto the balcony, where I could enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views. It felt like a little piece of paradise!
The only thing I didn't particularly like was how the rooms were fitted with a balcony. It's just my personal preference, though.

I keep coming back because the staff here are friendly and helpful. On my first stay, they gave me great recommendations for restaurants. This place has free Wi-Fi in public areas and no pets allowed, which suits me perfectly. Can't wait to come back for another city break.

The food for breakfast could be improved.

I loved the great river view from the bungalows by the French Bridge. The basic bungalows had mosquito nets and a free towel upon arrival. The porch hammock was perfect for relaxation. Mama and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was quiet and chilled.
Felt very happy, no complaints at all.

Food was surprisingly good and cheap, perfect for my tight budget. Mama actually smiled once, which shocked me. WiFi worked in the shared areas, so I could post some fancy photos online.
The language barrier was so fun, especially when they overcharged me for their "delicious" food.

Finally my dream came true! Daily maid service, can you believe it? And the cherry on top, free WiFi! It's like living in the lap of luxury, I couldn't be more thrilled.
Who needs an airport nearby? Just a waste of time, really.
